Lindeen: Companies Can Now Devote Themselves to Paying Claims

csimt 2015, Insurance, Press Release

More than 41,000 Montanans receive federal health insurance tax credits

HELENA – Montana Insurance Commissioner Monica J. Lindeen released the following statement today regarding the U.S. Supreme Court decision in King v. Burwell:

“For years, I have worked hard to ensure that our health insurance market works to give Montanans access to quality, affordable health care. Today more Montanans than ever have access to health insurance. Uncertainty in insurance is not a good thing, and today’s decision allows my office, consumers and the health insurance industry a level of certainty about our market in Montana. Now our companies can devote themselves to paying claims and covering Montanans without keeping a nervous eye on the Supreme Court.”
