Montana’s senators remain divided as health care repeal stalls

Current Montana Insurance Commissioner Matt Rosendale, who has called for a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, was not among those who signed the letter.

“Matt has always supported repealing the disaster known as Obamacare, and is very disappointed that Congress has failed to get the job done,” his spokesman Kyle Schmauch said prior to Tuesday’s decision by Senate leaders.

He said Rosendale supports “empowering Montana to create a better health care system to lower costs, improve access, and protect our most vulnerable citizens.”
