How to receive Continuing Education Credit from the Montana Insurance Summit
Please read the details below to learn how you can receive up to six hours of continuing education credits for your attendance.
We have broken the Continuing Education into two course offerings.
- The “Montana Legislative Changes” course will be taught by Jesse Laslovich and is available for 1 hour of Continuing Education credit. This course will fulfill your statutory requirement for legislative changes CE.
- The remaining course is titled “MT Commissioner’s Insurance Summit”. It is a five hour course. To receive credit for this course, you must participate in the full day of offerings. No partial credit will be given.
On the day of the summit, you will receive a program at registration. Please note on the agenda page, that each presentation description is followed by a blank box.
During each presentation, you will be given a word. This keyword will be used for attendance verification for continuing education credit. Please make sure you record the keyword from each presentation you attend. At both 11:10 and 11:45 there are two presentation offerings. You will only be required to provide the keyword from the presentation you attend.
In the work week following the Summit, you will receive an email survey. In the survey, you will record the keyword for the presentations you attended. Completion of this survey is required to receive CE credit. It is the individual licensees’ responsibility to return a completed survey.
If you have not received the survey by October 1st, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Once the survey is completed and returned, please allow 30 days for the course completions to show on your CE transcript. In addition to the keywords, you will need to provide your Montana producer license and your National Producer Number.
