How many Montanans go without health insurance and why?
They seem like simple questions, but before 2013, no one had the answers. In an effort to better understand the effects of health care reform in Montana, our uninsured population and the economic consequences of expanding the Montana Medicaid program, CSI in 2012 asked a group of experts to study the uninsured in Montana. The result was a presentation called “Lay of the Land” offered to lawmakers of the 2013 Montana Legislature.
