HELENA, Mont. – Commissioner of Securities and Insurance Monica J. Lindeen issued the following statement today on the release of a bipartisan agreement to fund Insure Montana through the next two years.
“Hundreds of small businesses in the state rely on Insure Montana for affordable health insurance,”said Lindeen. “Working hand-in-hand with Governor Bullock and the Legislature, we have found a path forward to preserve Insure Montana for the next two years. Politics shouldn’t get in the way of doing what’s right for the 8,000 hard working Montanans covered by Insure Montana. Today, we’ve arrived at the solution Montana’s small businesses need and deserve.”
