Pursuant to § 46-9-510(1)(b), MCA, and ARM 6.6.6006(5), all arrests or surrenders of a principal/defendant by a licensed bail bond producer must be reported to the Commissioner of Securities and Insurance (CSI) within seven business days of an arrest or surrender.               

The CSI has made this reporting easy via the certificate of surrender service.  The service enables licensed bail bond producers to create certificates of surrender that can be printed and filed with the detention center. Then, with the click of a few buttons, send the required report to the CSI.
