CSI Works to Improve Revocation and Surrender ProcessFor Montana Bail Bonds Professionals

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Helena, Mont.— Commissioner Troy Downing is pleased to announce a significant update to the revocation and surrender process for bail agents across Montana. This new procedure introduces a single, standardized surrender form to be used statewide, now available through the CSI website portal HERE. The CSI is working with detention centers and courts across the state to make the newly developed form a standard procedure. This will ensure uniformity and clarity in the revocation process.

Key Features:

  • Secure Online Portal: The CSI portal is now the centralized, secure location for managing surrender forms. This new system has been designed with the highest security standards to protect sensitive information.

Benefits:

  • Efficiency: A single form reduces administrative confusion and ensures all agencies and stakeholders are on the same page.
  • Ease of Use: A centralized portal streamlines managing forms and tracking their status for all bondsmen.

This change represents a significant step toward enhancing transparency, efficiency, and uniformity in bail operations statewide.

“We will continue to work with Montana courts, detention centers, and bondsmen to improve the process and keep the bail bondsmen compliant with recent changes in legislation,” said Commissioner Downing.
